FISHER’S PHILOSOPHIES 2/12

LATIN QUOTE OF THE DAY:

Cuiusvis hominis est errare; nullius nisi insipientis in errore perseverare

“Any man can make a mistake; only a fool keeps making the same one.”

SECURITY STORY OF THE DAY:

This is also the “What the Hell” article of the day. What a sick sad joke!

RULE OF THE DAY:

When on the range, a simple COLOR CODE should be used by a shooter to the Instructor or to other shooters.  The color code makes things much easier for everyone involved and easily understood.  If the Instructor asks about your ammo the shooter should reply: Green, Yellow, Red, and Black.  The first three are for the following and are relevant only to the magazine in the weapon they are firing.  Green is a full magazine, Yellow is rounds used but still shoot capable, and Red means the magazine and weapon are empty.  Black states that the Shooter is completely out of ammunition whether in the weapon, in any magazines, and boxes.  This term is also stated as “Winchester”.
