“It is even better to act quickly and err than to hesitate until the time of action has passed.”

-Carl Von Clauswitz, June 1, 1780 – November 16, 1831)[2] was a German general and military theorist who stressed the “moral” (in modern terms, psychological) and political aspects of war. His most notable work, Vom Kriege (On War), was unfinished at his death. Clausewitz was a realist and used the more rationalist ideas of the European Enlightenment. His thinking is often described as Hegelian because of his references to dialecticalthinking but, although he probably knew Hegel, Clausewitz’s dialectic is quite different and there is little reason to consider him a disciple. He stressed the dialectical interaction of diverse factors, noting how unexpected developments unfolding under the “fog of war” (i.e., in the face of incomplete, dubious, and often completely erroneous information and high levels of fear, doubt, and excitement) call for rapid decisions by alert commanders. He saw history as a vital check on erudite abstractions that did not accord with experience. In contrast toAntoine-Henri Jomini, he argued that war could not be quantified or reduced to mapwork, geometry, and graphs. Clausewitz had many aphorisms, of which the most famous is that “War is the continuation of Politik by other means” (Politik being variously translated as “policy” or “politics”, terms with very different implications), a description that has won wide acceptance.

If you are in a business that you have to sell yourself, you know what I am talking about, then you better learn about yourself and be able to express it both verbally and non-verbally.  What do I mean by this, I mean sit down with paper and pencil and write out what strengths and skills you possess outright and then what strengths and skills you possess that others don’t.  What you write and memorize for later pitching to clients, contractors and companies will be one part of your ability to make a living in the Protection business.  The other parts will be your ability to WRITE the English language in a way that you don’t look stupid.  GRAMMAR ladies and gentlemen, and finally looking the part.  If you cannot look like a BODYGUARD then you will not be a Bodyguard and I am not talking about doing work for a band, rapper or drug dealer where the ability to look fat, overtly large and obvious has so many drawbacks I will not begging to go through them right now.  What you need to gather from this today is: 1. Know what qualities you have that translate into you being a benefit to a client, a protection team, and yourself 2. Be able to express your strengths in writing and other marketing possibilities 3. Look the part, both with your physicality and the clothes you wear and how you wear them.

MAGAZINE – magazine is an ammunition storage and feeding device within or attached to a repeating firearm. Magazines can be removable (detachable) or integral to the firearm. The magazine functions by moving the cartridges stored in the magazine into a position where they may be loaded into the chamber by the action of the firearm. The detachable magazine is often referred to as a clip, although this is technically inaccurate.

TACTICS are lifetime.  Remember that.  Everything you do from this point forward in your life takes in the consequences of BAD TACTICS.  How you drive, where you go, when you go, where you sit, how you sit, what you carry, where people are around you, where other things are around you are a few of the endless positions that you will begin to recognize not only in 30 second increments, but periods of time involves days, weeks, or months.  Tactics being what your response would be to a negative stimulus in order to receive a positive outcome.  Chew on that for a few days, I have more coming later.
